Isn't she just the most precious thing EVER? I know! And smart. She started kindergarten, and they bring home these little books that they basically memorize and then "read." It's a confidence-boosting strategy mostly because they can't actually read yet. But we've been "reading" the same book for more than a week, so I decided to let her try something else. Got out Dr. Seuss' "Go, Dog. Go!" The girl can read, y'all! I mean, she definitely got her common sense from Brandon, and that helps her a lot, but it was so weird listening to her really read something. She looks at the pictures, thinks about what might rhyme with what she's just read, and sometimes guesses wrong, but mostly she can get it. And she also can sound out words, but that frustrates her, so I try not to push too hard.I love you, Bella!
